Lost
The last thing she remembered, she was walking.
Through the misty forest, where shadows danced among the trees like whispers of forgotten dreams.
But now she was bound and gagged, and her head hurt badly. A faint memory of a chilling voice echoed in her mind, sending shivers down her spine as she tried to make sense of her surroundings. It was dark, very dark.
Her heart pounded in her chest, a steady drumbeat of fear that matched the rhythm of her shallow breaths in the oppressive darkness that enveloped her like a suffocating shroud. It set the metronome of her racing mind as she struggled to re member how she ended up in this nightmare, her thoughts drifting back to the hazy edges of consciousness where fragments of a sinister figure lurked, taunting her with its malevolent presence.
"You're mine now, Ducky." She clearly remembere d the icy cold voice that had whispered those words in her ear, the cruel promise of an unknown fate that chilled her to the core. The memory tugged at the edges of her mind, a puzzle waiting to be solved in the labyrinth of her forgotten memories.
She tried to call out for help, but the gag stiffled her, and when she tried to move the air stung her lungs like icy daggers, each breath a painful reminder of her vulnerability in this unknown abyss of terror. The bonds on her wrists dug deeper as she struggled against them. Her heartbeats reverberated in the suffocating silence, a desperate plea for freedom that echoed in the void around her, a lonely drum echoing in the emptiness of her newfound captivity. She listened for any signs of life besides her own.
