Quite Acute Story
Johnathan and Molly were standing at his locker, cracking s miles as they talked about their plans for the weekend. Molly wasn't doing anything interesting this weekend, but she desperately wanted Johnathan to think that she's cool. She tried to impress him by mentioning a concert she was planning to attend, hoping to catch his attention and maybe even get him to ask her to join him, but deep down she knew it was unlikely to happen.
"The Steam Punks?!" asked Johnathan excitedly, "I love them! Please tell me you have an ex tra ticket." Molly's heart sank as she tried to hide her disappointment, knowing she couldn't afford a ticket, let alone an extra one. She fake smiled and said, "Oh, I wish! But they sold out so quickly, I missed my chance."
"Oh, that's alright." said Johnathan. He couldn't help but want to hangout with this girl he just met, her cool factor being slightly diminished in his eyes. However, Molly couldn't shake off the feeling of disappointment as she watched Johnathan walk away, her heart heavy with longing for a chance to truly connect with him on a deeper level.
"Johnathan! Wait up!" Molly yells. Just as she yells his name, she sees Amanda coming around the corner, pulling Johnathan into a hug. despite feeling a pang of jealousy, Molly plastered on a smile and walked away, feeling the loneliness creeping in as she wished for a moment of true connection with someone who saw her for who she really was.
Molly went home and she decided that enough is enough---it's time to do something about this Johnathan and Amanda situation once and for all. She couldn't b lame Amanda for being the one to capture Johnathan's attention, she was vibrant and energetic, the opposite of Molly's shy and reserved self. As the night grew darker, Molly sat in her room, feeling the weight of her unrequited feelings pressing down on her chest, suffocating her.
Molly pulled up the anonymous school website. She was going to pose as Amanda, and blow up her reputation. Sur rounded by the cold glow of her computer screen, she typed up lies and scandals, her heart heavy with guilt for the deceitful plan she was about to set in motion.
