 she lived in a small, quiet town where the memories of her lost loved ones lingered in every corner.

This made her upset and scared every day.

 One day, Shannon was walking to the bus station to go to college, it was dark and gloomy, rain was falling onto her dark hair. She glanced around as she waited for the bus when she seen a dark figure approaching her.

 It was the silhouette of a man, his shadow growing longer as he stepped closer to her, sending shivers down Shannon's spine.

Alfie had been shannon's boyfriend for a year and a few months, together most of the time, shannon knew him inside and out. But, as Alfie grew closer, something seemed different, out of the ordinary.

 Alfie's eyes held a sadness that Shannon had never seen before, a darkness that enveloped his once vibrant gaze, leaving her heart heavy with worry.
