THE WALKING DEAD: THE BOOK

Rick walked through the woods, hearing the groaning of zombies get louder. Rick then yelled to Carl, "Come on, I don't want negen to find us!" rick shouted, his eyes scanning the area for any sign of danger. Rick also had to scan the perimiter for tools to give to Negen. suddenly, they stumbled upon an abandoned cabin hidden deep in the woods, its windows boarded up, the door half-ajar and a sense of foreboding lingering in the air. Michone then stepped up and said, "I don't think we should go, there could be zombies." Rick shook his head, "We don't have a choice, we need supplies," he replied determinedly. He opened the door. Only one zombie stood, jaw broken off. The zombie seemed trapped, weak and hungry, its vacant eyes staring at Rick and the group with a mix of terror and longing, as if begging for mercy in its pitiful state. Michone grabbed her sword but Rick stopped her. "No we don't have to kill it." The zombie's hollow gaze met Rick's for a brief moment before it stumbled back, as if sensing no threat from this group of survivors, surprising everyone with its unexpected surrender. As they cautiously entered the cabin, the eerie silence enveloped them, broken only by the faint sound of wind whistling through the broken windows, as if the world outside had frozen in time. Rick's heart raced as he knew they had stumbled upon something beyond their wildest nightmares. "What is it? Are the saviors here?" Michone asked. He shook his head, eyes still wide. There was a faint whisper echoing through the walls, a voice that seemed to call out to them from the shadows, luring them deeper into the unknown. Within the dimly lit room, they found old journals scattered around, pages filled with desperate pleas for help and warnings about a dark entity lurking in the forest. Rick's hands trembled as he flipped through the pages, realizing they were not alone in this forsaken place. The group exchanged worried glances, feeling the heavy weight of fear settling upon their shoulders, as they braced themselves for the horrors that awaited them in the cabin. The door broke wide open and a ton of zombies with dynimite tide to them. They didn exploded, sending debris flying everywhere, and the group scrambled to safety just in time as the cabin erupted in flames and the undead bodies writhed in agony. Amidst the chaos, a sinister laughter echoed in the distance, signaling the presence of an even greater evil lurking in the shadows, ready to strike at any moment. They then realized at that moment... It was the saviors!
