The Day That Time Stopped

The clock's hands froze at midnight, enveloping the world in an eerie silence. Jackson Luther was the only one to notice, no one in their right minds would be up at the hou se this late. He stared at the motionless second hand, feeling as if time itself had paused just for him, a solitary witness to this strange phenomenon. Jax had been up late again, working on his latest blueprints for his themepark. His latest lure to bring the Gem of the park back to him. He stopped, a sudden realization settling upon him like a thick fog. What if this frozen moment was his chance to right a wrong, to bring back what was lost in the depths of time?. The memory of Gem, his childhood friend and co-creator of the park, flooded his mind with bittersweet nostalgic memories. He and Gunter had built the park. Despite Jac disapearing. Then Emmerald came along and sh e took him into the Gem. Jax's heart ached at the thought of his two dear friends lost to the tides of time, but a glimmer of hope shone through the shadows of his grief as he gazed at the unmoving clock, daring to believe that maybe, just maybe, time could be unraveled and rewoven. "Vhy do you do this to me?" the Russian man pleaded, his voice echoing through the empty corridors of the abandoned amusement park, a haunting reminder of the past that Jax couldn't escape. He had found his daughter he never knew about-- Emerald the Gem was his daughter, returned as Willow, but now she was back in the thrall of the Gem, the very essence of the park itself enticing her to stay, her eyes gleaming with a bewitching light that sent shivers down Jax's spine in a bittersweet symphony of love and loss, intertwined in the fabric of time that seemed to bend and twist around .Willow hated Jax, he didn't blame her, he had been a bitch, but also, it hurt h im to to face his past misdeeds and the pain he had caused, but he knew he had to confront these demons if he ever wished to break free from the shackles of time and reunite with his lost friends, even if it meant delving into the depths of his own soul where shadows of regret and loneliness prowled. Jax shook his head violently as he slipped and found himself waking up in a cold sweatr upon the thick layer on his forehead, a stark contrast to the warmth that once filled his heart in the presence of Gem and Gunter, his partners in dreams and memories.
