The unexpected visit
Kacey and Savannah were just your average teenagers. They spent their days exploring the woods behind their small town, searching for hidden treasures. Until one day they came across an abandoned wooden house. It had gaping windows and was covered in dust and cobwebs. The floors were creaking under their weight, as they cautiously stepped inside, their hearts pounding with excitement and fear. while exploring the house the came across a suspicious door hidden behind the old kitchen cupboards. It was so dark that they needed to use their flashlights to see what was inside. As they opened the door a pungent scent filled the air. It reeked of decay and dirt. "Ugh what's in there?" The room behind the door was filled with old furniture covered in tattered sheets, and at the center of the room, there was a peculiar-looking wooden chest with intricate carvings. Curiosity getting the best of them, Kacey and Savannah cautiously approached the chest and slowly lifted its heavy lid. As they open the chest they discovered where the scent was coming from. Inside the chest was a severed, bloody finger. They gasp in shock and their bodies froze as they stared at the gruesome discovery, their minds racing with questions and fear. Unsure of what to do, Kacey and Savannah exchanged terrified glances, knowing they had stumbled upon something far more sinister than they could have ever imagined. While they wondered what to do a strange green glow appeared in the distance drawing them in with curiosity The glow seemed to be emanating from a hidden passageway behind a tapestry, tempting the two teenagers to uncover its mystery.
