Once upon a time there was a mouse named mike

 who discovered a hidden passage in the wall leading to a magical world filled with cheese mountains and chocolate rivers.

then he came to a cliff, where he fell off and died.

 The fall seemed endless, until Mike landed softly on a bed of feathers, realizing the passage was more than just a tunnel to death.

 But as the feathers started to wrap around him, Mike felt a surge of energy coursing through his tiny body, reviving him as he gasped for air and tried to understand the mysterious forces at play.
