Hidden Castle
Jane and Mary were walking to school one day when they spotted a castle near the edge of the forest, its ancient stones covered in thick moss. A shiver ran down their spine, unsure of what to expect. Jane shot Mary a "Let's check it out" look before they cautiously made their way through the tangled vines and overgrown bushes towards the entrance of the hidden castle, the air heavy with a sense of foreboding.
There were a sense of eeriness in the air. The moment they opened the door, bats flew out with a haunting screech, causing the girls to stumble back in fear, their hearts pounding in their chests. "Let's go in!" Jane suggested but Mary's face turned bright red. "Are you crazy?" She said ra ther loudly, her voice trembling with fear and uncertainty as she grabbed Jane's arm, trying to pull her away from the ominous castle that seemed to loom over them like a shadow of the past. Nevertheless, a strange curiosity tugged at Jane's heart, urging her to explore the secrets hidden within the ancient walls despite the chilling warnings from nature itself.
Entering the castle felt like entering a whole new world. Suddenly from the depths of the darkness, a soft whisper echoed, sending shivers down their spines as the voice seemed to call out to them, a voice filled with sorrow and longing, stirring something deep within their souls that made the girls stand frozen in place, their eyes wide with a mix of fear and fascination. The air was filled with a heavy silence, broken only by the distant sound of their own shaky breaths as they exchanged a wordless glance, a silent agreement passing between them to uncover the mystery that lay hidden within the castle's crumbling walls, a mystery that seemed to hold the keys
